About the Goddess

My name is Kristen, otherwise known as “The Mother of Four- Goddess of Chaos”. Why?? Well, I, like most moms feel like my world is in constant motion and I’m trying just to keep up. I have Four children under the age of 7 . I live in Massachusetts in my husbands original family log cabin that is in a constant state of re-construction with two dogs and two cats, a rabbit, a frog and a fish and when the timing is right perhaps a litter of kittens or puppies that we foster from our local humane society.

I have a home based business- http://www.tubbybundle.com that I work MANY hours to get up and running, provide insight and advice to other mompreneurs when I can, try to stay on top of my kids activities and school, keep the house, pay the bills and other “fun” stuff that responsible parents are supposed to do when they are grown up and look like I have everything pulled together and organized 24/7. Everyone can relate right?

However, my difference is… I’m not afraid to say that I don’t have it all together and I don’t pretend I do. I don’t have time to get weekly manicures and have days that my house is falling over the brink of no return with toys everywhere… but that’s my chaos for now since I can’t do everything 100% all the time, something has to give and that’s ok. My family is happy and healthy and I’m thankful everyday.

Favorite books include Snowflower and the Secret Fan, The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud, anything Mary Higgins Clark and Kite Runner- disturbing as this book was, I read this in one night, I couldn’t put it down! I started it at 9 p.m. and finished at 4 a.m. Check out my book selections under Book Reviews in my blog for a list of everything I have read lately.

What I can’t go without during the day- lovies from kids, coffee, laughing and an internet connection

Favorite food: chicken parm and chocolate fondue

My best work time: 1 a.m to 4 a.m. I am on the BALL!

What people generally don’t know about me? I actually have a college degree in horses and someday want to own an alpaca farm.

Favorite T.V. shows? Sorry to say, I’m not a big t.v. person but I do have my favorites: Greys Anatomy of couse, Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe (a whole family favorite!), Ellen and HGTV- Arrested Development, The Office, Rescue Me (love Denis Leary.. and I enjoyed the book his wife Ann wrote as well, Scrubs
