Email to Mom.

I was thinking about what to post today since I have so many things I could post about. But as I just sent my mom an email with our family update since I haven’t talked to her in a couple days I looked at it quick and thought it would be a great summary of how the last couple days were around here:

Hi Mom- Ughh can’t remember what email i was supposed to use for you since you are changing them all around, so if you get this you get it if, no biggie.  Been busy here, had to pick T up from school yesterday at noon after I got a call from the nurse saying she had LICE! Had to hold my tongue in the car from saying just about every naughty word I could think of since Dylan was with me. Loud music was the only answer. Just one more thing for me to start stripping beds and doing another ten loads of laundry. She was cleared to return to school today after I picked any live bugs (only 1) and 2 nits out last night and now just need to keep checking. so far no signs in anyone else, keep your fingers crossed. several kids in second grade have it maybe she picked it up at her sleep over birthday party???  I still can’t understand why in this day and age it is still such a problem with these little buggers- they have gone through her classroom three times since they have been back in school.

All the kids made out well at mias house today and I picked up just after 6 and still got home before andy so nothing to a miss in our schedule with some quick burgers on the grill even after they ate brautworst (spelling??) at mias house- she told them they were hot dogs.

As I was on the phone with her to let her know I was on my way for pickup it occured to me that I had nothing to eat or even drink since my cup of morning coffee. Made a small note to myself to drink a couple glasses of water as soon as I got home and be sure I eat dinner.

Friday I’m finishing up some orders and packing/shipping and cleaning the house. Dylan had an awesome day at school, no crying this morning during seperation. Hoo Rah! Of course, it was school picture day and the poor kid had already gotten dirt all over his shirt somewhere between here, dropping the kids of at school and getting to pre-school… oh well poor child number 3 with a dirty school picture hope they could focus on his shoulders up! Could have been worse, while running around in the yard at mias he ended up diving and rolling right thru a pile of dog poop. Good thing I had an extra shirt in the car… darn why didn’t I think of putting that on him this morning?

The kids borrowed roller blades and we were not in the house for five minutes when they all had them on and were falling all over the kitchen/living room. Of course, mr. drew ended up in tears after a crash and burn. The skates were banned after not long since I couldn’t handle the chaos while I was trying to make dinner and get everyone to do homework.

My meeting went well today at the center and I have a game plan. Of course I had little miss tanner with me who slept all day and was wide awake for the meeting while I was trying to think and bounce her on one knee then decided to bless me with one of those diapers that leaked everywhere and I needed to excuse myself and go into another conference room and do a 100% change of clothes. Only to discover I was out of the dirty diaper bags I keep in the diaper bag so thankfully one of the kids had left their bag of chips in there so that saved everyone else from the wonderful smell/sight while I hid it in the bottom of the diaper bag zipped up. She finally fell asleep five minutes before the end of the meeting but everyone loved her- how can you not love such a little innocent baby?

I don’t think we have much planned for the weekend. Amy and Ray invited us over for her infamous fish chowder and homemade pizza in her new kitchen but eddie has his kids this weekend so I don’t know if we’ll wait for another weekend.

End of Email.
