Facebook Marketing? or Just Hype?

Is there truth in Facebook Marketing or is it just a waste of time and one more distraction to the work we should be doing to grow a business?

I’ll be the first to admit that I started a Facebook account..(Come Join Me!)… I don’t know when, but quite a while ago. I’ve jumped in and out of it here and there to check it out but then the Internet ADD gets the best of me and I flake off again. I think I’ve re-set my password at least 6 times.

The turn off for me was the frustration of not meeting people….I keep a yahoo address book and of course, none of them were using Facebook…and I feel a bit like the nerdy wall flower sending someone that gave me their business cards saying “will you be my friend”???

One fun thing came out of it so far, I found a dear High School Friend so it is always nice to catch up and see what people are up to. But the real point, is can it be used for business? REAL BUSINESS?

Well, for anyone that wants to know more about Facebook Marketing, follow along on my journey and pipe in if you have any suggestions or reach out and be friend this wall flower or just watch me creep my way along Facebook and try to put all the lessons I learn together.
