While out surfing the net researching for a few new articles, I was distracted. Let me ask you, how can you surf the net without getting distracted? You click on this, click on the that and before you know it, you can’t remember where you came from and the windows open different so you can’t even go “Back”.

I do have to say on the subject of surfing the internet that I am happy at how Google has done a better job at making searches focused on what you are actually searching for and have put a serious dent in the number of adult and XXX rated websites that pop up. While it’s impossible to get 100% clean results I don’t find myself bombarded and sifting thru these type of websites. A few years ago I was putting on a large kids event and typed in the words “candy necklace” to find different kinds of candy that kids can string together for an activity and WOWOWOW… I never knew the word candy could lead to these sort of things. The worst part was I was at my Corporate Job on my work computer (Yes, it was a work related party and part of my job). Every time my phone rang I was afraid it was the IT department calling to tell me to report to Human Resources.
