I am excited to announce the arrival of our latest little Tubby Bundle of Love, Tanner Alice. She arrived on August 23rd at 7 lbs 15 ounces and 19 inches. Her big sister and brothers are loving her and showering her in kisses all the time.

I have to admit that I was not looking forward to labor and delivery since I was once again overdue and had a scheduled induction. My first two babies were induced with pitocin and not until my third arrived on his own without the pitocin did I realize how much more painful the contraction drugs made labor. However, I did make it thru without pain meds or an epidural and labor was only five hours long from the start of the drip and she arrived so quick that she took us all by surprise! I’m not sure if I’ll forgot the sheer look of panic on the interns face as she and the nurses started frantically paging the doctor, it was a real life Grey’s Anatomy moment!

Things were hectic pending her arrival and I apologize for my lack of blogging. I will be working to catch up (mostly in the wee hours of the night I expect).
